"a boy, a dog and a frog" by John Griffin, age 6. [based on original artwork by Mercer Mayer] February 8, 1983 A boy with a dog and a net and a pail...went looking for something to catch. The boy found a frog, and ran to catch it. The boy tripped over a log, and fell into the pond. He blamed the frog for it. He tried to catch it. He actually missed it, and sat there looking at it. He told his dog to sit on one end of a log (which the frog was sitting on) He sat on the other end. He snuck up and his dog frightened the frog. the frog jumped off the log and the boy caught the dog. The frog hopped away and looked at them. He watched them walk away. They walked home. The frog looked sad. The frog followed the foot prints, and found them in the bathtub. The frog was happy, and they all took a bath togeher. End (P.S.
